What is JCI Las Vegas

JCI Las Vegas is a local chapter of Junior Chamber International (JCI), a global network of young active citizens. We are dedicated to developing leaders, creating positive community impact, and building meaningful connections both locally and internationally.

Who can join JCI Las Vegas?

Anyone between the ages of 18 and 40 who is passionate about leadership, personal growth, and making a difference in the community can join.

What are the age requirement for membership?

Full membership is open to individuals aged 18 to 40. We also welcome associate members ages 41 and above who wish to stay engaged with our mission, as well as student members under 18 who want to start their leadership journey early.

How do I become a member?

Simply fill out our membership application form, attend an orientation session, and complete your membership dues. From there, you’ll be welcomed into our growing network of changemakers.

Is there a membership fee?

Yes. Membership fees help support training, programs, and organizational activities. The annual fees are as follows:

• Regular Members (ages 18–40): $60 per year

• Associate Members (ages 41 and above): $40 per year

• Student Members (ages 17 and below): $20 per year

What benefits do members receive?

Members enjoy a wide range of benefits, including leadership training, professional development, networking events, mentorship, and the chance to participate in national and international JCI conferences. Additional perks include:

• Exclusive discounts with JCI USA partner organizations such as hotels, parks, gyms, and other local partners.

• Discounted rates for all JCI conferences, conventions, and training programs.

• A personal Glue Up account to stay connected with events, resources, and the wider JCI network.

Do I need to be in a specific profession when I join?

Not at all. JCI members come from all backgrounds and industries. What matters most is your desire to learn, grow, and create positive change.

What kind of projects and activities does JCI Las Vegas do?

We organize initiatives focused on leadership development, community service, business and entrepreneurship, cultural exchange, and global impact.

How much time commitment is expected from members?

We understand that members have different schedules, so involvement is flexible. At a minimum, JCI Las Vegas meets once every quarter for our general meetings. In between, we host various hangouts, socials, and activities to keep members engaged and connected. While participation in events and projects is encouraged to get the most out of your membership, the level of involvement is ultimately up to you.

Can I join if I'm already part of another organization?

Yes! Many members are also involved in other professional and civic organizations. JCI Las Vegas complements your existing commitments by expanding your leadership and network opportunities.

Are there networking opportunities beyond Las Vegas?

Absolutely. As part of JCI USA and JCI International, you’ll have access to a network of over 200,000 members across more than 100 countries.

Can members attend international or national conferences or events?

Yes! Members are encouraged to attend JCI national conventions, international congresses, and leadership academies worldwide at discounted rates. Non-members may also attend select events and conferences, but they are required to pay the full price.

Can I volunteer without becoming a member?

Yes! We welcome volunteers at many of our events. However, full membership unlocks additional benefits like leadership roles, training, and global opportunities.

How long does membership last?

Membership runs annually and can be renewed each year until you reach the age of 40.

How do I stay involved if I moved to another city or country?

JCI is a global network. If you move, you can easily transfer your membership to another local chapter anywhere in the U.S. or abroad.

What leadership opportunities are available for members?

Members can serve as project chairs, committee leaders, or board officers at the local, national, and even international levels. JCI is designed to give you real-world leadership experience.
